Summary
Unit standard 1754 does not meet the requirements of the Approved Code of Practice for Cranes for persons operating or working with cranes. Truck mounted cranes are the area of the crane industry where the most serious harm incidents happen.
Due to the code of practice and health and safety implications MITO have set an early expiry date for this unit standard.

The Category D unit standard will expire at the end of December 2016
