Summary of review and consultation process
Primary ITO has reviewed the above qualification because the Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI) changed the requirements for the Rover Inspector roleholder, which affected the achievability of this strand. Both MPI and AsureQuality were consulted and confirmed the need for this change.
Main changes resulting from the review
· The requirement to carry out ante-mortem examination has been removed from the graduate outcome of Rover-Inspector strand. There are no changes to the qualification title.

Transition
The last date of assessment for version 1 of this qualification is 31 December 2020.
It is the intention of Primary ITO that no existing trainee should be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. Any person who considers they have been disadvantaged may appeal to the Primary ITO, PO Box 10383, The Terrace, Wellington 6143.
