Summary
The Skills Organisation has completed the republication of these qualifications to reflect the extension of the last date of entry for the National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. The extension is to ensure learners are not disadvantaged given the delay in the development of new programmes.
Main changes resulting from the republication
· The last date for entry into the National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Motor Rewinding and Repair) (Level 4) [Ref: 0412] was extended from 31 December 2017 to 2018. Both the National and New Zealand qualification, [Ref: 2565], were updated to reflect this change.

Transition
The last date for entry into the National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Motor Rewinding and Repair) (Level 4) [Ref: 0412] is 31 December 2018. The last date for assessment remains unchanged as 31 December 2021.
Existing trainees enrolled in the National qualification can either complete the qualification or transfer their results to the New Zealand qualification.
It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to The Skills Organisation at the address below. Appeals will be considered on a case by case basis.
