The NZ Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation (NZ Marine and Composites ITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

NZ Marine and Composites ITO carried out a review to better align these unit standards to the graduate outcomes of the related marine industry New Zealand qualifications, and to reflect updated health and safety legislation.  Industry and subject matter experts provided feedback and input into the review of these unit standards.

 

Main changes

 

·      Unit standard titles and contents were updated to better reflect the standard outcomes.

·      Guidance Information was updated to reflect the changes in legislation.

·      One new unit standard was developed.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is 31 December 2019
