FIELD ENGINEERING AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES
The New Zealand Marine and Composite Industry Training Organisation has revised
the qualification listed above.
Date republished April 2017
The next qualification review is planned to take place during December 2022.
During the development of programmes leading to this qualification, it became apparent that the indicative credits of the graduate outcomes were not reflective of the learning, training, and assessment time taken to achieve those graduate outcomes. In consultation with stakeholders, NZMAC ITO has revised the credit value of the graduate outcomes and qualification to better reflect the learning, training, and assessment required to achieve those graduate outcomes.
Version 2 if this qualification includes the following:
Changes to structure and content
The indicative credits for the graduate outcomes 1, 2, 3, and 5 have increased to reflect the learning, training, and assessment time.
The total qualification credits have increased from 150 to 180 credits.
Version 1 of this qualification has been given an immediate Last Date for Assessment.
There are no transition arrangements required as there are no approved programmes, or trainees enrolled in version one of this qualification.
It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to NZMAC ITO at:
