NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has reviewed the qualification listed above.

Date new version published                                                             November 2017

Reason for the review

The qualification was due for review in 2014, however Level 7 qualifications sat outside of the Mandatory Targeted Review of Qualifications undertaken between 2014-2016.  It has now been reviewed and was designated expiring.

There are no current enrolments in the qualification, and the qualification has had only 18 results reports since 2007, the last ones being reported in 2011.  Providers advised that they have not taught this programme for several years and that they have moved to Initial Teacher Education qualifications at this level.
