Summary

 

This republication to extend the last date of enrolment of the National qualification will allow time for programme development towards the New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4) [Ref: 2746].

 

The republication follows the development and review of unit standards at Levels 4 and 5 to align with the graduate profile outcomes in content and credit value for the new qualification, which was published in January 2017.

 

Main change

 

This last date of entry is extended from 31 December 2017 to 30 June 2018. 

 

Transition

 

The last date for entry into programmes leading to the National Certificate in Adult Education and Training (Level 4) with strands in New Zealand Environment, and International Environment [Ref: 0378] is 30 June 2018.

 

The last date for assessment remains at 31 December 2018.

 

Candidates enrolled in programmes may choose to complete the requirements by December 2018 or transfer their achievement to the replacement qualification.

 

Candidates should not be enrolled into programmes leading to the award of this qualification unless there is sufficient time available to complete the programme and be awarded the qualification before it expires.

 

It is the intention of the qualification developer that no existing learner should be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements.  Any person who considers they have been disadvantaged may contact the qualification developer at the address below.
