Summary
NZ Marine and Composites ITO carried out a review to better align the above unit standards to the graduate outcomes of the New Zealand Certificate in Marine Systems (Level 4) with strands in Systems Engineering, and Electrical- Electronic [Ref: 3124], and the New Zealand Certificate in Trailer Boat Rigging and Servicing (Level 4) [Ref: 3189], and also to reflect the new health and safety legislation. As a result of this review, new unit standards were developed. Industry and subject matter experts provided feedback and input into the development of these unit standards.
Main changes
· Unit standard content was updated.
· Guidance Information was updated to reflect the changes in legislation.
· 12 new unit standards were developed.
The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is 31 December 2019
