Summary
These unit standards are overdue for review. During the review of other Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying unit standards in 2016-2017, it was identified that these unit standards have had little or no usage over the past five years, and are therefore considered no longer fit for purpose.
Should unit standards be needed at Level 5, in the Plumbing and Gasfitting sectors, new unit standards will be written in consultation with the wider industry.
Accredited providers were notified that these unit standards will expire at the end of December 2017.
