Summary
Unit standard 2765 was reviewed in 2016 to better fit the outcomes of the New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) [Ref: 2218]. Category B changes were made. All providers with consent to assess the Arboriculture and Amenity Horticulture domains were informed of this and given the opportunity to be a part of the consultation. Consultation took place in November 2016.
Main changes
· Unit standard 2765 was reclassified from the Arboriculture to the Amenity Horticulture domain to allow a wider application. It also increased from 4 credits to 5 credits to more accurately reflect the time taken to learn and be assessed against the standard.
· Two new Sports Turf Management unit standards were developed.
