The NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has completed the review and revision and rollover of of the unit standards listed above. The unit standards in bold have been reviewed, those in italics have been revised and rolled over, the remainder have just been rolled over.

Summary
Unit standards in the Generic Design domain were due for review as part of the NQS regular review cycle. Twelve unit standards were identified for expiry due to little or no usage over the last five years. Stakeholders were then given an opportunity to provide feedback on this in April 2016 via the NZQA website.
The remaining unit standards in the domain have been revised and/or rolled over to maintain currency until 2018, when their usage in the new New Zealand qualifications environment can be evaluated.
