Summary

As a result of the Targeted Review of Qualifications process, Primary ITO has reviewed these unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in new qualifications.

A consultation was held in early 2016 where providers with consent to assess had the opportunity to give feedback via an online survey. This feedback was addressed where appropriate.

Main changes

· 14 unit standards were Category B reviews

· 13 unit standards were Category C reviews

· 26 new unit standards were developed

· Unit standards in the Fruit Production domain were reclassified into the Production Horticulture domain

· Unit standards in the Viticulture domain were replaced with unit standards in the Production Horticulture domain

Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2021
