Summary of review and consultation process
Due to the merger of the Electricity Supply ITO with the Infrastructure ITO in 2013, some electrical qualifications were deferred till after the merger for their mandatory review to be completed. Connexis is now ensuring that any remaining National Certificates in Electricity Supply are given priority for review.
The review of the Network Control qualification followed the stakeholder collaboration process and determined that there was a need for a New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply for Network Control (Level 4).
