The New Zealand Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation (NZMAC ITO) has completed the revision and rollover of the unit standards listed above.  Unit standards that have been rolled over are in bold above.

Summary

These unit standards were the responsibility of the NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO) and these were transferred to NZMAC ITO.  This will align sail making and trailer boat systems engineering industry training with the marine industry.

The revision took place to update legislation within the standards to keep them current until they are reviewed, and to change the standard-setting responsibility from MITO to NZMAC ITO.

Main changes

· Guidance information has been updated to reflect changes in legislation.

· Unit standards are now included on CMR 0136.
