Summary

As a result of the Targeted Review of Qualifications process, Primary ITO has reviewed a number of unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in new qualifications.  Primary ITO has also developed a number of new unit standards to meet industry need and reflect the outcomes listed in the new qualifications.

Key stakeholders and organisations with consent to assess have had the opportunity to review these unit standards and offer feedback.  This consultation was through an online survey which ran for two weeks in November 2016.  All feedback was actioned where appropriate.

Main changes

· 12 unit standards were reviewed and changes were made including to titles and credits.

· 31 new unit standards were developed.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2019.
