The Infrastructure ITO has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The standards had been reviewed in 2017, however it was identified that three of the reviewed standards had been registered at inappropriate levels, and that two did not accurately reflect the nature of the job described.  The standards were reviewed by representatives of the roadmarking industry and signed off on 16 June 2017.

Main changes

· All standards increased from Level 3 to Level 4

· Standards 18047 and 18050 changed title to more accurately reflect the content of the standard

· Performance criteria were added to standards 18047 and 18050 to more accurately reflect the required skills associated with new roadmarking work.

The last date for assessment of the most recent superseded version of the Category B standards is 31 December 2018.
