Extension of expiry date of Glass and Glazing unit standards

Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) has completed the extension of expiry dates of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The unit standards above are included in version 3 of the National Certificate in Glass Processing (Level 3) [Ref: 1103] and the National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) [Ref: 1249], which have been replaced by the New Zealand Certificate in Glass Processing (Level 4) [Ref: 2946] and the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) [Ref: 2947].

The last date for assessment of version 3 of the replaced qualifications is 31 December 2020, which does not align with the last date for assessment for these unit standards.  As a result, the unit standards required a change in expiry date to allow learners who are enrolled in version 3 of the qualifications, and unable to transition to the replacement qualifications, to complete the qualifications.
