Summary

This unit standard was revised to amend an error made at review.

Version 3 of the standard, whilst bearing the same title as the previous two versions, had its first outcome changed to “Explain the concepts of whānau, hapū and iwi in accordance with tikanga.” This meant that Outcomes 1 and 2 read the same, which was inconsistent with the title and the intention of the standard.

Main changes

· Outcome 1 was changed back to “Identify the concepts of whānau, hapū and iwi in accordance with tikanga.”

· In Evidence requirements 1.1 to 1.3, “identified” replaced “explained”.
