Summary
The rollover and revision of these unit standards was initiated to change their classification from Engineering and Technology > Telecommunications > Telecommunications - Service Delivery to Engineering and Technology > Electrical Engineering > Electrotechnology. The change was brought about by the transfer of Telecommunications classifications to Connexis, except for the three generic standards listed above, which is retained by The Skills Organisation.
The unit standards were revised to ensure that they are fit for purpose, relevant to the Electrotechnology Industry and are readily available for assessment.
Main changes
· Classification changed from Engineering and Technology > Telecommunications > Telecommunications - Service Delivery to Engineering and Technology > Electrical Engineering > Electrotechnology.
· The term ‘telecommunications’ has been removed where appropriate.
· References were updated.
· Unit standard 25268 title amended to remove reference to telecommunications.
