Summary

 

The unit standards were reviewed to align with the New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Building Services (Trade) (Level 4) [Ref: 2717] and to meet Competenz s ongoing unit standard review schedule.

 

The review was carried out in consultation with Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning industry technical experts and the changes were endorsed by the industry technical group.

 

Main changes

 

·         Changes were made to outcome statements, performance criteria, and range statements to clarify assessment requirements, remove duplication, and ensure alignment with current industry requirements. 

·         Unit standards were modified to align with the revised NZQA guidelines.

 

The last date for assessment of the previous versions of these Category B unit standards is 31 December 2022
