Summary
The review of these unit standards was initiated during the review of the operator qualifications when the relevance and completion of the network operator, hydro operator, and thermal operator needs were considered by industry stakeholders. The outcomes from the unit standards have been reviewed and amendments made to meet the requirements of the network operator in the electricity supply industry.
Main changes
· Unit standards 14700 and 16279 were reviewed with minor changes.
· Unit 16275 was replaced by a new standard in network load management.
· Two new unit standards were developed.
The Category C unit standard will expire at the end of December 2019
