The unit standards for Aeronautical Maintenance Certification under EASA regulations Part 147 were due for review.  Expert industry advice verified that the standards were fit for purpose, with minor adjustment.  The standards were endorsed by industry.

 

Main changes

 

·      Reference to EU regulations in purpose and guidance information was updated.

·      Guidance information in standard 27749 was corrected.

·      Standard 27749 and standard 27750 were lowered from Level 6 to Level 5.

·      A last date for assessment of superseded versions of the unit standards was specified.
