The Infrastructure ITO has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The unit standards were revised for accuracy with the current industry standards and guidelines.  The resource development process identified some inaccuracies in the performance criteria and a legal expert reviewed the standards to make them relevant to current requirements.

Main changes

· Amendments were made to the guidance information and range statements to remove references to specific sections of the International Infrastructure Management Manual as this information changes with updates to the manual.

· IIMM guidelines, NAMS guidelines, ISO 31000 and the ISO 55000 were deleted from unit 11429 as they were too limiting for trainees.

· Outcome statements and/or performance criteria were amended for standards 11429, 17305, 23589.
