Summary

The process of compiling programmes of industry training for the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (Level 4) (Operations, and Visitor Information) [Ref: 2202] revealed a lack of unit standards covering the geography of the New Zealand landscape.  After consultation with industry, unit standard 30627 was developed and endorsed by a wide range of tourism enterprises.
