MITO New Zealand Incorporated (MITO) has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The revision has been undertaken to extend the last date for assessment of previous versions of the standards, to enable a large cohort of learner results for existing gas industry programmes to be reported.  This extension is to ensure learners are not disadvantaged as a result of existing programmes not being updated during the transition to programmes towards the New Zealand qualifications.

There is no change to the planned review date of 31 December 2022 for each of the standards.

Main changes

· The last date for assessment of the superseded version of the standards was extended from 31 December 2018 to 31 December 2020.
