Summary

 

The Skills Organisation and the rigging sector held three meetings to discuss the conditions that had to be met for the New Zealand Certificate in Rigging (Level 3) [Ref: 2355].

 

In developing the programme, the core rigging unit standards were reviewed to meet the conditions and the qualification graduate outcomes.

 

Main changes

 

·      Credit values of unit standards 20261, 20262, 20263, 26349, 26351 and 26352 were changed based on assessor feedback of the time taken for assessment of them.

·      Unit standard 20260 was designated expiring without replacement.

·      The titles of unit standards 20261, 20262, 20263, 26350 and 26351 were changed to fully represent the outcomes of the units.

 

The Category D unit standard will expire at the end of December 2020

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2020
