New Zealand Certificate in Laundry Processing (Level 2) with optional strand in Washroom Procedures [Ref: 2431]

 

Competenz has reviewed the qualifications listed above.

The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2023.

 

Reason for the review

 

These qualifications have reached their 5-year mandatory review date.

 

Summary of review and consultation process

 

Industry stakeholders participated in a scheduled review of these qualifications. The review was informed by consistency review results, which the stakeholders concurred with.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

ˇ         The graduate outcomes of the laundry qualification were updated.

ˇ         Both qualifications were updated to the current qualification template and changes made to wording, formatting and conditions.

ˇ         A new review date was set for both qualifications.

ˇ         Version 2 was issued.

Category A

The qualification is published as a new version with the same NZQF ID

The qualification is published as a new version with the same NZQF ID

Changes are made to title, rules or components

The new version of the qualification recognises a similar skill set to that recognised by the previous version

Transition arrangements are required if candidates must gain additional/different credits for the new version

Category C

A new (replacement) qualification is published with new NZQF ID

Significant changes are made to the qualification in terms of components, structure, type or level

The SSB views people with the replacement qualification as being significantly different in terms of competence from those with the replaced qualification
