Review of Cadet Forces qualification
National Certificate in Cadet Forces (Foundation Skills) (Level 2) [Ref: 1374]
The Skills Organisation has completed the review of the qualification listed above.
Date new version published July 2018
Summary of review and consultation process
The above qualification was reviewed as part of the Sports, Fitness and Recreation targeted review of qualifications conducted by Skills Active Aotearoa. It was determined with the Cadet Forces Sector and Skills Active Aotearoa that a replacement qualification at level 2 for Cadet Forces was not required and that learners would complete a series of unit standards rather than a full qualification.
Learners who wish to pathway into a full qualification will be able to do this through the New Zealand qualifications developed for the Outdoor Recreation sector.
