The Primary ITO has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published July 2018
Planned review date December 2023
Summary
Primary ITO has reviewed three unit standards and developed two replacement unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in the New Zealand Diploma in Landscape (Level 5), with strands in Design, and Construction [Ref: 2888].
There are a number of organisations with consent to assess by level, as well as individual unit standards. Organisations with consent to assess, as well as industry stakeholders, had the opportunity to review the relevant unit standards and offer feedback. This consultation was carried out by email in November 2017. Following RFI in February 2018, the unit standards were updated in consultation with the industry working group as well as consent to assess holders who had responded in the first round of feedback. All feedback was actioned where appropriate.
Main changes
· Unit standard 997 was reviewed to meet current landscape construction industry requirements.
· Two unit standards were replaced by two new unit standards to reflect current industry practices.
Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2019.
