Summary

As a result of the Targeted Review of Qualifications process, Primary ITO has reviewed a number of unit standards to ensure that they are still fit for purpose, align with the requirements of the outcomes listed in new qualifications, and to update any other relevant information.

Key stakeholders and organisations with consent to assess have had the opportunity to review these unit standards and offer feedback.  This consultation was carried out in person and by email in July and August 2017.  All feedback was actioned where appropriate.

Main changes

· Legislation and references were updated.

· Performance criteria were updated to reflect current industry practice.

· Terminology was updated to match the latest template.

· The title of unit standard 21757 was amended to better reflect standard content.

· Outcome 2 in unit standard 25714 was reworded for clarification.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2019
