MITO New Zealand Incorporated (MITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above. The unit standard in bold was been rolled over only.

Summary
MITO has reviewed the unit standards listed above and developed new unit standards at the request of industry.
The above review has resulted in fit-for-purpose assessment content being made available to industry that reflects current legislation and industry practice.
MITO’s automotive industry working group endorsed the unit standard review. Representation in the working group included subject matter experts, industry representatives, provider representatives and MITO representatives. The unit standards were circulated in the working group’s greater networks and all feedback was actioned where appropriate.
Main changes
· Standard 2332 was reviewed and outcomes and performance criteria were rearranged to ensure its achievability.
· Standards 15433, 21857, 24114 and 24439 were reviewed and outcomes and performance criteria changed to ensure currency with industry knowledge and practice.
· Standard 21696 was reviewed and updated to reflect changes to guidance information.
· Standard 23743 was reviewed and guidance information and range statements changed to ensure currency with legislation.
· Standard 24336 was rolled over to extend the last date for assessment from 31 December 2018 to 31 December 2019.
· Four unit standards were reviewed and replaced with four new unit standards.
· Two new unit standards were developed.
Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2020
