Summary

Feedback from therapeutic riding tutors had indicated that changes were required to this unit standard.  Unit standard outcomes required amending to clarify intent and one of the performance criteria was found to be a barrier to completion for learners.

The unit standard was updated, consultation was carried out with all Riding for Disabled tutors by email in October 2017 and their feedback was incorporated.

Main changes

· Outcomes were amended to clarify impairments and their relationship with medical conditions.

· Performance criterion 3.1 of the previous version was deleted.
