The NZ Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation (NZMAC ITO) has completed the review, and rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above. The unit standards in bold were rolled over and revised only.

Summary
NZMAC ITO carried out a review to better align these unit standards to the graduate profile outcomes of the New Zealand qualifications relating to the marine industry, and also to reflect the new health and safety legislation. Industry and subject matter experts provided feedback and input into the review of these unit standards.
Main changes
· Credits increased for unit standards 27244 and 27251 to better reflect the learning and assessment time involved.
· The level of unit standard 9938 increased to better represent the level of the outcomes.
· Content of the unit standards and titles were updated to better reflect the standard outcomes.
· Guidance information was updated to reflect the changes in legislation.
· Unit standard 23037 was designated expiring and replaced by new standard 31196.
· Unit standards in the Marine Sales and Services domain listed above were revised to update legislation and references. They were also rolled over until December 2020.
The Category C unit standard will expire at the end of December 2020
