Summary

HITO’s Hairdressing Advisory Group, in liaison with its industry networks, has reviewed the standards listed above.

The review of these standards has resulted in amendments to ensure the standards are fit-for-purpose and meet the current and ongoing needs of industry. 

Main changes

· Entry information, guidance information, performance criteria and range statements were updated to ensure a fit with current and ongoing industry needs.

· A last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B standards was determined.  Results will not be accepted where the assessment date is after the last date for assessment of the superseded version of the standard.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of these Category B unit standards is December 2020
