Competenz has completed the revision of the unit standard listed above.

Industry feedback indicated that the range of three knives specified for the unit was incorrect in that specific knives for trimming were not used in most retail meat organisations.  This was disadvantaging learners in some organisations, so the range was revised.  The revision was made with industry consultation and Industry and Competenz endorsed the change.


Main changes


·      ‘Trimming knife’ was removed from the range in guidance information.
