Development of Motor Industry unit standards

Summary

 

MITO has developed two new unit standards at the request of industry to align with the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Wheel Alignment (Level 4) [Ref: 4057].

 

The above development has resulted in fit-for-purpose assessment content being made available to industry that reflects current legislation and industry practice.

 

MITO’s automotive wheel alignment industry working group endorsed the unit standard development.  Representation in the working group included subject matter experts, industry representatives and MITO representatives.  The unit standards were circulated in the working group’s association network and all feedback was actioned where appropriate.
