Connexis has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published November 2019
Planned review date December 2024
Summary
The standards are listed in the National Diploma in Surveying (Level 6) [Ref: 453] with an optional strand in Mine Surveying which is expiring in December 2020. Unit standard 23874 is in the Connexis programme for the replacement qualification, the New Zealand Diploma in Surveying (Level 6) [Ref: 2959]. The remaining unit standards are not in the Connexis programme for the diploma and usage of these standards has been decreasing since the National Diploma was set to expire.
After consultation with stakeholders with consent to assess these standards, unit standard 23874 was updated, and the other standards were set to expire.
Main changes
· Guidance information in unit standard 23874 was updated to reflect current legislation and rules.
· All other unit standards were set to expire without replacement.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2021
