Summary of revision and consultation process

The revision arose due to the need to provide clarity around the requirements for each assessment level, and to better support students to complete the external assessment within the timeframe.

The need for change was initially identified by the National Assessment Facilitator (NAF).

The NAF, MoE and the subject association have reviewed and accepted the changes.

Main changes resulting from the revision

Key changes are within the explanatory notes (EN) as follows:

· Change to EN2:

o Paragraph 1

Text added: ‘used in the performance’.

o Paragraph 2

Text added: ‘used in the performance’

Text deleted: ‘and the effect of the resulting performance for the audience’.

o Paragraph 3

Text added: ‘used in the performance’
