The Primary Industry Training Organisation has completed the reinstatement and reclassification of the unit standards listed above.  Unit standards that have been reclassified are listed in bold above.

Summary

 

The reinstatement (as outlined below), was required to align with the expiry date of the National Certificate in Leather Manufacture Technology (Introductory) (Level 3) available with Merit [Ref: 0419], the National Certificate in Leather Manufacture Technology (Advanced) (Level 4) available with Merit [Ref: 0420].

 

Main changes

 

·      Unit standards were reinstated with an expiring status, and the last date for assessment was set to 31 December 2020.

·      Unit standards 8388 and 8390 were reclassified from subfield Leather Manufacturing, domain Leather Manufacture to subfield Fellmongery and Leather Processing, domain Leather Processing Knowledge so the standards could be registered in a domain with ‘current’ status.
