Summary
The review of this unit standard was prompted by the outcomes of the mandatory review of qualifications, specifically the listing of:
· New Zealand Certificate in Sport and Recreation (Programme Delivery) (Level 4) [Ref: 3573].
Feedback from stakeholders was gathered through an open consultation process and used to guide the development of the programmes of industry training for the qualification above, and the development and review of the associated unit standards.
One standard was reviewed, and four new unit standards were developed to meet industry needs for this qualification.
Main changes
· Standard 4863 was designated expiring without replacement.
· Four new standards were developed to capture the essential skills and knowledge required to meet the qualification outcomes.
Category D unit standard 4863 will expire at the end of December 2021
