Summary
As a result of the review of the New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) with optional strand in Self-Management and Employability Skills [Ref: 2218], Primary ITO has reviewed these unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in the new qualification.
A consultation was held in late September 2018 where providers with consent to assess had the opportunity to give feedback via an online survey. This feedback was addressed where appropriate.
Main changes
· 11 unit standards were reviewed to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in the new qualification.
· Industry consultation amendments were made to reflect industry standards to ensure unit standards remained fit for purpose.
· Unit standards were updated into the current NZQA unit standard template.
