Summary
This unit standard was reviewed in early 2019 as part of its regular scheduled maintenance. It was last reviewed in 2012, when all other History unit standards were replaced with achievement standards.
At the time, the standard had high usage in the tertiary sector and so it was retained. Since then, usage of the standard has dropped significantly and consultation with both the secondary and tertiary sectors has not supported retaining it.
