Summary

 

The review of these unit standards was prompted by the outcomes of the mandatory review of qualifications, specifically the listing of:

 

 

Feedback from stakeholders, including schools, was gathered through an open consultation process and used to guide the development of the programmes of industry training for the qualification above, and the development and review of the associated unit standards.

 

The reviewed unit standards were found to no longer be fit for purpose, relevant nor aligned with outcomes listed in the new qualification.

 

New unit standards were developed to meet industry needs.

 

Main changes

 

·      Standards 20146 and 26391 were designated expiring and not replaced as they no longer align with industry practice or leadership levels.

·      Five new standards were developed.
