MITO New Zealand Incorporated (MITO) has completed the development of the unit standards listed below.

Summary
The development of these unit standards was triggered by, and undertaken alongside, WorkSafe New Zealand’s review of its requirements for the Extractive Industry’s Certificates of Competence (CoCs).
The development has resulted in fit-for-purpose assessment content being made available to industry that reflects current legislation and industry practice.
The New Zealand Mining Board of Examiners feedback was used to guide the development process.
