Summary

 

Changes were recommended by the Equine industry to reflect current industry practices.  Unit standards were updated with feedback and also minor changes to ensure consistency of evidence.  Unit standards were sent out to all consent to assess holders and industry in March 2019 for feedback.  Changes were incorporated where valid.

 

Main changes

 

·      Nine unit standards were revised and updated to reflect the new template.

·      Titles were updated for four unit standards to meet current technical criteria.

·      Guidance Information was amended to reflect current legislation and regulatory requirements.

·      Minor changes were made to performance criteria in all unit standards to reflect current industry practices.

·      Content was amended in all unit standards to meet current technical criteria.
