Consultation with stakeholders confirmed that the qualifications were fit for purpose with no changes to strategic purpose and some changes required to graduate outcomes required. The results of the consistency review meeting for the New Zealand Certificate in Catering Services (Level 3) [Ref: 2106] were considered and acted upon. Canvassing of industry leaders indicated that additional minor changes required by new NZQA templates were called for. Consensus from stakeholders was obtained for the newly formatted qualifications. |

New Zealand Certificate in Catering Services (Level 3) [Ref: 2106] The qualification was reviewed, and Version 2 was published. The main changes included: · Removal of outcome 5 as it had been identified as problematic, and credits reassigned to outcome 4 · Formatting according to new template · Changing to requirements for consistency from “must include” to “may include” · Minor amendments to graduate profile outcomes. New Zealand Certificate in Catering Services (Level 4) [Ref: 2107] The qualification was reviewed, and Version 3 was published. The main changes included: · Realignment of credits in outcome 4 and outcome 5 to more accurately reflect the time requirement for each · Formatting according to new template · Changing to requirements for consistency from “must include” to “may include”. |
