Competenz has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Unit standards were reviewed with full industry consultation as part of the Competenz scheduled five yearly review.
Main changes
· Minor changes were made to update terms and definitions and to align unit standards with current industry practices and terminology.
· Industry references were updated for currency.
· Safety and risk management content was updated to reflect current industry requirements.
· Unit standards 6951 and 6952 were designated as expiring and replaced by new unit standard 31982.
· Unit standards 1234 and 1236 had credits raised to better reflect the time to learn the skills involved.
· Unit standard 17767 had its title amended, the level raised from 3 to 4, and credits raised from 10 to 15 to reflect the complexity of the skills required and the time to learn.
