Careerforce has completed a review of the unit standards listed above.  The unit standards that have been reclassified are listed in bold.

Summary

 

The unit standards listed above have been reviewed in consultation with key stakeholders, with subsequent input and feedback invited from all providers with consent to assess.

 

Main changes

 

·      Guidance Information (legislation, codes, documentation) was updated.

·      Various edits to wording were made to reflect terminology currently used in the sector.

·      Unit standards 5786, 5788, 5789, 5791, 5792 and 5795, 16874, and 23373 were reclassified.

·      Outcomes and performance criteria were amended in 5786, 5788, 5789 and 16874 to align with current practice.

·      The titles of six diversional therapy standards were changed to reflect terminology now used in the sector – from ‘diversional therapy’ to ‘diversional and recreational therapy’.

·      The titles of unit standards 16874, 27504 and 28737 were changed to align with the outcomes.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2021
