Summary

 

This review was conducted in consultation with Sector Advisory Groups and Technical Advisory Groups, consisting of industry experts, stakeholders and those holding the consent to assess.  Any amendments and updates to these units were discussed at meetings that were held in the first quarter of 2020, results of these meetings were communicated via email to review participants, offering a further opportunity to provide feedback.

 

Main changes

 

·      Guidance Information, Outcomes and Performance Criteria were updated to reflect current practices.

·      Minor changes to wording were made in some unit standards for accuracy and clarity.

·      The level of unit standards 28729 and 28730 was increased to Level 3 to better reflect the knowledge and skill level required to achieve these units.  These units were previously part of the Base Scope of Assessment for Schools, as part of the Furniture Operations domain, to Level 2.

·      The credit value of unit standard 28731 was increased to 10, to better reflect the skill level and time required to achieve this unit.

·      Unit standards were updated using current template.

·      Last date for assessment of 31 December 2020 was specified for version 1 of unit standard 17636.
