Summary
Unit standards were reviewed during September and November 2019 by email and meeting with the External Working Group (EWG), comprised of representatives from the Irrigation industry. The EWG consulted with the wider irrigation industry to determine if any changes were required to unit standards. The EWG agreed that the unit standards only required minor changes. Content was amended or deleted to meet current technical requirements, and where appropriate regulatory requirements were added or deleted.
Main changes
· Unit standard content was updated to reflect current industry practices.
· Unit standards 20955 and 25136 were expired as they are no longer required by industry and have not been used since 2015.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2022
